Voting for the 127 gram panchayat seats in the district began from morning 7.30 am. Ont of 130 gram panchayat two  of them were unopposed which include Sonpur (Kalmeshwar) and Jatamkhore (Saoner), while Dewali Kalal of Kuhi was cancelled.
As reported till 3.30 pm the polling per cent was 62.54 in the district. Kuhi recorded 73.44, Umred recorded 72.13 per cent Kotal had  polling per cent of 72.28 per cent were the highest per cent polling done till after noon, while Narkhed was second with 68.85 pr cent.
In Nagpur rural the polling had poor pooling i.e. only 45.32 per cent.
In other places the polling was above 60 per cent. All the polling centre followed the Corona guidelines.
The polling took place at 485 centre in the district. Fate of 3015 candidates has been locked in the EVM. Total 1455 polling officials.
Out of 1196 seats polling took place for 1086 seats of the 127 gram panchayat. Counting of the votes will be done on taluka level on January 18.
