Opposing the project of converting Ajni Van into an Inter model station by NHAI Samir Vartak, Chairman of the Environment Department of the State Congress Committee condemned the decision of cutting the trees and waste of money in Ajni.
Maharashtra demands to stop the decision on chopping down thousands of decade-old trees at Ajni for Inter Model Station as it is the only left place which can be called the lungs of Nagpur city. Raising the question the members said currently pollution is increasing day by day and corona is not over yet, under such circumstances, if the government cuts trees, how will we live?
