On one hand emphasis is given to promote money less transaction in the country, but the increased charges in service by the bank has not only raised eyebrows but has also confused the customers.
Some of the charges that are imposed from January 20 includes on withdraw by self cheque of Rs 50,000 will charge Rs 10 as service charge. Second person can withdraw only Rs 10,000 only. In Saving Account cash deposit in one day upto Rs 2 lakh is allowed, but for depositing above Rs 50,000 in a day for every thousand Rs 2.5 will be charged.
Similarly for deposit in Current Account/ Cash Credit Account/Over Draft Account (CA/CC/OD) deposit upto Rs 25000 is free, above that Rs 2.5 per Rs 1000 will be charged.
For mobile and internet banking per transaction Rs 25 will be charged. For changing pin and password Rs 10 will be charged every time, informed sources.
