Narendra Chanchal, a renowned Bhajan singer best known for many religious songs, passed away after prolonged illness at Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Narendra Chanchal was 80 years old.
According to reports, due to increasing weakness in terms of age, he was admitted to Apollo Hospital for the last two months. He breathed his last around 12:30 pm today.
Talking about his songs, his hit list includes songs like ‘Chalo Bulava Aaya Hai’ and ‘O Jungle Ke Raja Meri Maiya Ko Leke Aaja’.
Narendra Chanchal was born on 16 October 1940 in Namak Handi, Amritsar. He was raised in a very religious environment. After a lot of struggle, he got work in Bollywood. He also sang songs in several films like Bobby, Anam and Roti Kadam and Makan.
