The rise and drop in daily COVID-19 cases continues as the second capital of the state reported 255 fresh cases on February 4. In the day, 4 people succumbed to the infection. After todays count, the cumulative number of positive cases reached to 136182.
From the total 4182 deaths so far, 746 deaths are from the city, 2730 from rural and rest 706 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3132 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also, 231 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 127868 (including 69298 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 94.59%.
Today’s 255 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
AIIMS (18), GMC (31), IGGMC (25), MAFSU (06), NEERI (31), RTMNU (19) Private Lab (86) and Antigen (41).
