It was just when the country was getting back to normal daily life post lockdown when suddenly the surge in COVID-19 cases disturbed the administrations.
On the backdrop of this sudden rise in cases, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed as many as 1,305 buildings as a preventive measure to control the spread of the virus.
The Mumbal civic body sealed 1,305 buildings with 71,838 households after 2,749 cases were registered in the city.
As per the information, T Ward (Mulund) has the largest number of sealed buildings and floors at 233, followed by N ward (Ghatkopar) and P South (Goregaon) with 125 sealed buildings.
