Nagpur District Tennisball Cricket Association is organizing the 19th Senior Men’s and Women’s and 12th Sub Junior Under-16 boys and girls Vidarbha-level Inter District Tennisball Cricket tournament in the city from February 22 to 24 at St Ursula High School and Junior College ground.
Around 300 players are expected to take part in the competition and will be put up at the MLA Hostel, said Vidarbha Tennisball Cricket Association general secretary Rajkumar Kaithwas while addressing a press conference at the SJAN office.
Besides Nagpur City, teams from Gondia,
Gadchiroli, Bhandara, Yavatmal, Chandrapur, Wardha, Amravati, Akola, Buldhana, Washim, Nagpur Rural, Chandrapur Rural, Amravati Rural and Akola Rural will participate in the annual tourney.
Vidarbha teams will be selected on the basis of performance in this meet. Vidarbha side will participate in the Junior National Tennisball Cricket tournament slated to be held at Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh) from March 5 to 8.
Vidarbha squad will also take part in the 31st Senior Nationals scheduled to be held in Tamil Nadu from March 20 to 23.
