The Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s nuisance search squad on Wednesday took action against 165 irresponsible citizens without masks and recovered a total fine of Rs 82,500 from them. Masks were also given to all these citizens. In the last few months, search teams have taken action against 33,649 citizens and so far a fine of Rs. 1,51,83,500 / – has been recovered.
The number of corona patients is increasing again and the risk of coronavirus infection has not been averted. Even now, safe distances are not observed in many places. In urban areas, it is dangerous to see unmasked citizens walking around. Therefore, the nuisance detection team is taking strict action against the citizens who are endangering their own health, family health and the health of the society in such an irresponsible manner and they are being given masks.
23 under Laxminagar zone, 18 under Dharampeth zone, 9 under Hanuman Nagar zone, 5 under Dhantoli zone, 28 under Nehrunagar zone, 15 under Gandhibagh zone, 7 under Sataranjipura zone, 15 under Lakdaganj zone, 11 under Ashinagar zone. The action was taken against 31 persons from the zone and 3 persons from the corporation headquarters on Tuesday under the guidance of search team chief Virsen Tambe.
 In order to control the number of patients in Nagpur, the Municipal Corporation’s nuisance search team is taking action against irresponsible citizens walking around the zone without masks every day.
