As we know the Covid positive cases are increasing in state especially in Amravati district. The district witnessed the highest single day spike in Vidarbha on Tuesday. Total 926 fresh cases were detected while 6 persons succumbed to the disease. Besides, 359 people were discharged after recovery. The cumulative tally of positive patients has reached 31,123. With 6 deaths, the toll rose to 471 and with 359 recoveries the cumulatively reached 26,758. The district now has 3,894 active cases. Total 6 deaths were recorded include 3 men and 3 women. The deceased are 2 each from Amravati and Anjangaon Surji and one each from Gawhankund in Warud tehsil and from Arvi. And in Akola, hike in COVID-19 positive cases continued on Tuesday with 277 new patients and 44 recoveries. Meanwhile, two deaths were also recorded. At present, there are 2,386 active cases and 14,418 positive patients. Of them, 357 patients died while 11,675 have been discharged after recovery. And in Yavatmal, in the last 24 hours, 246 people tested corona positive, two succumbed to the disease and 158 were discharged.
A 70-year-old woman from Yavatmal and an 83-year-old man from Darwha taluka died of the disease. At present, there are 1,138 active cases with 16,501 positive patients. There are 76 active cases at present. In Gadchiroli as many as 5 new corona cases were detected and 7 became corona-free in the district on Tuesday. With this, the total number of positive cases has risen to 9,473 while recoveries are 9,298. At present, there are 70 active cases in the district. Bhandara total 10 patients recovered while 22 tested positive in the district on Wednesday. The number of cured patients has risen to 1, 3029 while total positive patients are 13,534. There are179 active patients and 326 corona victims. And Washim district witnessed 87 more cases of corona virus infection in the last 24 hours while 31 people got discharge. The district has total 7,922 positive patients, 603 active cases, 7,162 recoveries and156deaths.In Chandrapur district has recorded 55 new cases of COVID-19while 25peoplewere discharged in the last 24 hours. The total number of positive patients has reached 23,437 so far while recoveries are 22,874. Currently, 166 active patients are being treated. So far, 397 patients succumbed to the disease. The Wardha district witnessed 125 new corona patients, two deaths and 36 recoveries on Tuesday. The total number of corona affected in the district is 11,492. Of them, 10,371 recovered and 334 succumbed to the disease. There are 787 active cases at present.
