Dr Sudhir Gupta, Head of Gastroenterology, Super Speciality Hospital has been appointed officiating dean of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Dr Gupta is senior most Professor after Dr Sajal Mitra, the present Dean who has gone on leave as being unwell.
As per information, on today he will take charge from Dr.RP.Singh.Dr Sajal Mittra, dean of GMCH has been on leave since January 21 due to health issues. Due to this, skin department head Dr Singh was officiating as dean. Dr.Gupta will be delivering his duties as Head of Gastroenterology at SSH as well as Dean of Nagpur GMCH.
