Dr. Prakash Baba Amte a renowned social worker from Maharashtra has been hospitalised after a complaint of fever and cough for the last 7 days. A corona test was conducted on Dr. Amte which came out to be negative. Dr. Uday Mahorkar, Director of Avanti Hospital confirmed the COVID-19 negative report news.
Dr. Amte’s Lok Biradari Prakalp which is transformed into three major social attributes, a local school, named Lok Biradari Prakalp Aashram, a hospital, named Lok Biradari Prakalp Davakhana, and the Amte’s Animal Park, an orphanage for wild animals, will be closed due to the rise is COVID-19 cases.
