After the Nagpur-Doha flight operated by Qatar Airways had stopped, the airline closed down its office in the city. The point to be noted here is that the airline had started operations from the city in the year 2008.However, the airline didn’t get the much desired response. As per information, the airline had employed 6 to 7 local persons as staff. Their services have been discontinued from February 22.
The airline was paying their salaries despite the flight being discontinued almost a year back. The airline also had to pay rent for the counter it had taken at the airport. All these added burden to the airline. However, there are chances that the airline will start their operations soon because Nagpur is a growing market.
