Along with regular vaccinations drive for health workers and frontline workers, COVID-19 inoculation drive for senior citizens and individuals above 45-year-old with specified co-morbidities will start from Monday, March 1. The Vaccination will be conducted at 11 government centers designated by the health department in Nagpur city.
In the first phase, health workers or frontline workers who could not get vaccinated due to non-registration can also go to this centre to register and receive vaccinated. Vaccination will start from 9 am from Monday onwards.
Names of assigned Government Centers:
2 Centres each at Pachpaoli, Government Medical College and Hospital, Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Police Hospital at Zingabai Takli and Indira Gandhi Hospital at Gandhinagar.
People above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with serious illness can be vaccinated at Isolation Hospital, AIIMS, ESIS Hospital at Imamwada. These government centers for vaccination will be open from 9 am to 5 wpm.
Documents required during vaccination:
- Aadhar card/identity card on which the date of birth is displayed.
- Those who are front-line workers should register by showing their job identity card and those who are health workers should register by showing their hospital identity card.
- Registration can be done at the center as well as online through the ‘Co-Win’ or ‘Arogya Setu’ App.
