It is really a difficult situation as near about 1275 students in Nagpur district under Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP) within the jurisdiction of Nagpur office are facing problems for getting scholarship. Since many students have not linked their Aadhaar card with their respective bank accounts, the department is not able to disburse scholarship on time. The has been shown on Maha DBT portal.Maha DBT portal has been launched with a view to enable the students apply online for feeship and scholarship for the academic year 2020-21 and start scrutiny of pending applications at college level.
The portal can also be used to grant approval for the online applications. As per information, the colleges did not scrutinize the documents of the students online or send them to Maha DBT portal. As ITDP has set deadline for linking Aadhaar card with bank accounts giving approval to scholarship forms, the students would be deprived of freeship, if the scholarship proposal is not submitted on Maha DBT portal within deadline.
