Amid rise Covid positive cases in city, the flight for Belgaum in Karnataka scheduled to start from March 16 will now start from April 16.This will be the first flight in Aam Aadmi (Udan) Yojana in the country under regional connectivity service from Nagpur. These flights will be available in Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday in a week.
The flight 2G-147 will leave from Belgaum at 3.20 pm and reach Nagpur at 4.45 pm.Later, the flight 2G-148 will leave Nagpur at 5.10 pm and land at Belgaum at 6.355 pm.The Star Air has bagged Nagpur-Belgaum sector bidding in the third phase of Udan Yojana.The aircraft of capacity of 50 passengers and has a maximum range of 2,873 km.However, this aircraft has to travel around 900 km distance from Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport to Veer Rani Kittur Chennama Airport on this route.
