Due to the rapid spike in the Corona positive cases from the last few days and after the city reported more than 1700 cases on March 10 (1700), Dr Nitin Raut, Maharashtra Energy Minister and Guardian Minister of Nagpur has ordered a strict lockdown in the city from March 15 to March 21.
The decision was taken after a review meeting held today morning at the District Collectorate office. It was viewed that people with positive COVID-19 symptoms and even the ones who are advised isolation were not following the SOP resulting rise in the number of cases day.
The lockdown will be in the jurisdiction of Nagpur Police Commission ret,  Factories will be opened while private offices will be closed. Government offices will work with 25 percent attendance, as being the month of March. Medical and important services will be opened
