An initiative to spread awareness about Consumer Rights, the day, March 15, is being celebrated across the world as ‘International Consumers Day’. The then United States President, John F Kenedi on March 15, 1962 had delivered a speech in US Parliament on Consumer’s Rights and published a notification regarding consumer rights. From the day, March 15 is being celebrated as International Consumer’s Rights day. Grahak Panchayat has appealed to the Government, semi-government, local self-governance bodies, schools and colleges to celebrate International Consumer Rights day by following COVID-19 protocol.
