In a step towards making the city pollution-free, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has initiated a process to convert 237 busses that were previously running on Diesel to be converted into CNG-fuelled busses.
Amidst rising pollution levels in the city, this decision to convert diesel busses into CNG busses is taken. According to the sources, a total of 55 busses are already converted into CNG under this decision and the remaining busses will be converted as soon as possible.
