Whatever it may be panic, fear, or extension of lockdown, rush in the early hours in grocery shop, vegetable, fruit, or meat shop is heavy. Â Restricting the timing of shops from March 16, up to 1 pm, has not been a wise decision, as the number of cases has multiplied after that. Even rush in the early hours, for day-to-day requirements the shopkeepers and the customers overlook the SOPs, as everyone is in the hurry. Due to the limited time even the shopkeeper is trying to attend a maximum number of customers. They have to place orders to the wholesaler, and suppliers.
Traders earlier were in the habit of placing orders and purchasing from the wholesale market in the afternoon. The wholesaler uses to supply them or the retailer himself took his items by arranging his own vehicle. But now everyone is busy completing his work, in a limited time. Customers too have to attend his office or work and ignoring norms like physical distance, mask while talking etc.
Too many restrictions even provoke people to find out some different ways, which are even more harmful for themselves and the society. The chance of many traders doing trade from the back door, cannot be denied. Chances of black marketing, the false practice have been started, and even the possibility of an increase in crime is also there. People have appealed to the administration to take stakeholders into confidence before framing or imposing restrictions. Â Â Â
