The surge of Covid positive cases in city are really scary as the spike in Covid cases this year in 23 days of March has broken record. About 49983 Covid positive cases have been found in March till now and the death toll has touched 362.However, the death figure is 25.74 percent compared to September last year. In September last year, 1406 patients had died. As per information, on Tuesday, 3095 Covid positive cases were detected in Nagpur district and 33 patients died during treatment. Till now, 199711 patients tested Covid positive with 4697 fatalities. Among the fresh positive cases detected yesterday, 2272 were from city, 819 from rural and four from outside the district
. Among the fatalities, 19 patients were from city, 10 from rural and four from outside the district. Yesterday 14956 samples were examined. This included 9429 from city and 5527 from rural.1345 patients tested positive in private labs, 110 in antigen test, 417 in AIIMS lab.463 in GMCH lab, 404 in Mayo lab, 111 in NEERI lab and 245 in Nagpur University lab.The number of active patients has touched record level in Nagpur district. On Tuesday, there were 31993 active patients. This includes 24662 from city and 7331 from rural. About 6951 patients are being treated in different hospitals while 25042 patients are in home isolation.
