The scholarship exams for Std V and STD VIII conducted by Maharashtra State Directorate of Education would be conducted on May 23.Earlier; the exams have been postponed due to pandemic. As per information, the last date for filling applications for the exams was earlier March 20.Now it has been extended to April 10.
The timetable and information booklet are available on the websites www.mscepune.in and www.mscepps.in.The teachers expressed their displeasure in this matter and said that due to frequent changes in the exam dates it is creating difficulties for the children. The education department has decided to pay the examination fees of all students studying in the Zilla Parishad schools with a view to ensuring the participation of students of all levels in the scholarship examination. For this, a provision of Rs.6 lakh has been made from the cess fund.
