With less than a week to go for the 14th edition of the Indian premier league (IPL) to start, the excitement of T20 tournament has already taken fans across the globe.
As there are many topics to be discussed around one of the biggest cricketing tournaments the most hilarious part has been Twitter’s blunder in incorrectly praising hashtags for the eight teams.
As a new move ahead of IPL 2021, which starts on April 9 Twitter has been placing the jerseys beside each franchisors hashtag, for example if you write #SRH on Twitter, an orange Jersey appears on posting on to it.
However a glitch has occurred from the Twitter’s end. If you use hashtag #RCB it is showing a yellow Jersey instead of the original #playbold red Jersey.
The official Twitter handles of CSK, RCB and Rajasthan royals have reacted to the same even cricketers have joined the bandwagon.
