According to MSEDCL .the air cooler should be installed in such a way that it will come directly in contact with soil to prevent electrical supply in the external metal part. The electrical supply should be stopped filling water and care should be taken that water will not fall down on land. The cooler should not be touched with wet hands. The pump should not be started with a wet hand or wet land. If water is not coming from the pump, the electrical supply to the pump should be stopped. Many times the water is not lifted despite switching pumps due to low level of water. There is a possibility of the pump getting air locked leading to electrocution. The priming of the running pump should be avoided.
