In a latest development regarding Vaccination drive, citizens above 45 years of age in Nagpur city will not be vaccinated on Monday May 4 at all NMC centers, informed Medical Health Officer Dr. Sanjay Chilkar.
The decision comes following shortage of decision vaccines in Nagpur city. Vaccination will be resumed once the vaccine becomes available in the city, he said.
It is worth mentioning here, that the third phase vaccination drive that began from May 1 for 18+ and above will continue at 3 centers in the city namely; Indira Gandhi Hospital Gandhinagar, Pachpavli Maternity Hospital and Isolation Hospital Imamwada.
It is to be noted that, online registration for vaccination is mandatory for persons between the ages of 18 to 44 years.
Also, Individuals who register online should be present within the time allotted by the Vaccination Center.
It is an appeal to the beneficiary to follow proper COVID norma and avoid crowding at the center.
