The positivity rate of the city which was 31.25% the highest from April 16-22 has significantly dropped after two months to 12.02% from May 7 to May 12. With less positivity rate the number of persons becoming free from coronavirus in Nagpur district has also increased.
With phase 3 vaccination drive on halt citing the shortage of vaccine in Maharashtra 14,519 beneficiaries from 45 years and above received the vaccination jab on May 13.
Out of total 14,519 jabs, 13,799 doses of COVISHIELD were administrated to the beneficiaries, and 720 doses of COVAXIN were administrated.

On Thursday, 5884 persons recovered from coronavirus while 2,224 tested positive for the COVID-19, so the difference has become visible.
The good number of single-day recovery has taken the cumulative number to 4,10,486. The/recovery rate has reached 88.68%. The active case has also come down to 39,616.
