The chairman of public works committee of civic administration, Rajendra Sonkusre on Wednesday said that oxygen beds have been provided in hospitals for Covid patients. With this, the cases of leakage in oxygen lines are also coming forward. To stop this, gas detectors should be installed at hospitals.Sonkusre said that if oxygen leakage is not detected on time, a huge accident might take place.
Municipal administration should issue orders to hospitals for installing gas detectors. While considering covid situation in city, fire safety facility and other safety provisions should also be made.Sonkusre made this suggestion at a meeting of public works committee. The meeting was organized online in which firefighting committee chairman and members were present.
