Nagpur district continues to record more recovery than daily new cases along with a dip in death and Active cases. After two months Nagpur district recorded the lowest single-day death count as 28 deaths were recorded on Thursday. On March 20 Nagpur district reported 26 death and since then saw an upward trend in death and daily cases.
With 3405 people recovered in a day the Active case dips further to 19,246. In a day 1,151 people were infected with COVID-19 virus.
Since March this is the first time when Nagpur district recorded the lowest death case in the last 24 hours. In a day, 28 persons died due to coronavirus, of these 11 persons were the residents of Nagpur city, and rural witnessed 8 deaths. This has taken the cumulative death count to 8,685.
Meanwhile out of the total new COVID-19 cases registered in the day 562 were from the city and 578 from Nagpur Rural. With these, the cumulative positive cases reached 4,67,931.
The cumulative recovery case reaches 4,40,000 mark, while the recovery rate of the district reaches to 94.03%
