Chairman, Mohabat Singh Tuli of Tuli College of Hotel Management initiated a Langar Sewa in the wake of ongoing Pandemic of Covid-19 for villagers and passersby . Many People have lost their jobs due to lockdown and especially villagers, who were daily wagers are now sitting at home without work.
Mr. Tuli initiated this noble gesture to ensure that no one is deprived of a decent meal and has to go hungry for a day. He has ensured nutritive and hygienic food, cooked under his supervision. To accomplish this noble task, he has recruited staff from these villages only, hence giving them employment. The women from village nearby are preparing these meals and the grains are being provided by the management of Tuli College of Hotel Management.
As per Sikh religion, seva of langar for all needy and hungry is the highest and pure form of service to mankind. True to his faith, Mr. Mohabat Singh Tuli started with pure thoughts of reaching out to maximum hungry stomachs. Lots of people, men, women and children from surrounding villages come daily from 12 noon onwards to consume this delicious langar. By the grace of God the numbers of people are increasing every day.
Tuli College of Hotel Management feels immense pride in being lead by a very generous and humble leader Mr. Mohabat Singh Tuli.
This langar will go on uninterrupted till the situation demands.
This is also a reminder, that this noble soul provided langar last year too in 2020 to the migrant laborers, walking or pedaling miles to reach their hometown and villages. He even provided the premises of Tuli Colleg of Hotel Management last year in 2020, at the beginning of Pandemic to migrant labors under the NMC initiative to keep the laborers in a safe place.
During that time too, the food provided by NMC was always supplemented with sweets, milk and fruits for all. Special attention was given to their safety, supply of provisions, sanitizers etc.
We pray that his tribe grows, as the world today needs more compassion than competition.
