After the second wave of Covid-19, the district administration has now concentrating on to control the possible third wave. In this matter district collector and IMA office bearers and ENT specialists and pediatricians were conducted discussions at district collector’s office on Friday.
Empahasis was laid on enabling and strengthening the health system in rural areas.Zilla Parishad CEO Yogesh Kumbhejkar,district surgeon Dr.Devendra Paturkar,district health officer Dr.D.S.Shelokar were also present. Online discussions were held with Indian Medical Association (IMA) officials and expert doctors working in rural areas. A task force was also held with task force formed for mucormycosis. During the discussion, experts agreed to develop a common protocol for the treatment of infected children, given the possibility of third wave.
