A proactive move indeed, as the Maharashtra police department has started a facility to help the citizens. And if you are in trouble, no need to worry, dial 112.Then the police will reach you to solve your problem. As per information, this facility will be soon beginning in Nagpur district.
The helpline 112 equipped with modern technology. The initiative will also help the police in crime control and maintaining law and order. There are 32 police stations in Nagpur city and 22 in the district. If any one call 112 from any place in this state, the location will be detected to the officers and employees working in these two centres. These officers will inform concerned police stations and also take follow up. In Nagpur district, two officers and 340 others have been selected for this and they are being trained on how to help the person in need immediately.
