The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has demanded immediate vaccination of citizens between the ages of 18 and 44 in view of the threat posed by the third wave of Covid-19.In this regard, a statement was given to Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Devendra Fadnavis and Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari.
As per information, citizens above age of 45 are coming in small numbers at the vaccination centres. As a result, vaccination has slowed down. Some centres do not even have afternoon vaccinations. Many young people are working in government offices, factories and private offices. They are most at risk of corona infection. Therefore, vaccination of youth above 18 years of age should be allowed from June 1.The BJYM demanded that the vaccine should be given at the centre without registering it online.
