Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the state government has decided to award the sports grace marks to the SSC and HSC students for the year 2020-21.The sports competitions didn’t take place during whole year due to Covid pandemic. According to the government notification, the sports performance of the students in the eighth and ninth standards will be considered while awarding sports grace marks to SSC students.
Similarly, for HSC students, the sports performance in the 11th standard will be considered. The school education and sports department of the State Government issued the direction on Friday. The inter-school sports competitions are on stand still for last two years due to Covid pandemic. The State as well as national level events were also cancelled. Therefore, it has been decided to award the sports grace marks to the students on the basis of their performance in previous sections.
