As the possible third wave of Covid-19 is predicted, the district administration is creating public awareness in rural areas ahead of it and also starting training of medical workers for specific and effective medical treatment. The special training of all health workers and officers in the district will be completed from June 7 to 18.
Considering the possible danger of the third wave of Covid and high risk to small children, the district collector Ravindra Thakare and chief executive officer Yogesh Kumbhejkar have ordered planning for this training programme. As per information, around 1000 medical officers, employees, community health officers, nursing staff, health assistants and health workers working at sub-district hospitals, rural hospitals, primary health centres and sub-centres in Nagpur district will be given training.
