As a part of Corporate Social responsibility recently Dharampeth Science College supported to Adhar prakalp of NGO run Malhar Foundation ,Nagpur.
This Adhar prakalp help needy women by providing them raw material like used news papers ,cloth to make paper bags and cloth bags which are promoted by the Govt.to minimise use of plastic a main pollutant of environment.
These women in turn get monetary benefits which help them to make their livelihood easy.
Especially in the times of Covid pandemic many small time workers lost their jobs and to support such people Malhar Foundation is working hard.
In this connection college Principal Dr.Akhilesh Peshwe and library committee convener Dr.Archana Kulkarni took initiative and donated 221 kg.of waste news papers (Raddi) to help support adhar prakalp as a social responsibility .
