Once again the Rashtrsant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University’s online examinations started on Wednesday with a large number of students remaining absent. This time the students argued that they were not provided with the link by the University.
Prof Prafulla Sable, Director of Examinations and Evaluation of the University stated that the students had not read and understood the instructions properly. Clearcut instructions were provided on the University’s website. Providing separate link to individual students was not at all required. They were required to click on the University’s link for all examinees. On Wednesday about 4,500 students out of about 78,000 could not write the examination. Most of them were B Com-I students. On Thursday those who could not write are a few in number.
Prof Sable stated that the students, who could not write examinations, have been instructed to submit the grievances to their respective colleges. The University has again issued instruction manual and video message by the University.
The students could not appear for the examinations because of lack of awareness about the on-line examination system developed by the University.
