Nagpur district on Saturday witnessed further improvement in COVID recovery. For the first time since the COVID-19 began to affect the city recorded the lowest single-day death case as 1 person succumbed because of the COVID infection. Meanwhile, the COvid-19 death crosses the 9000 mark in the district
The district recorded 75 new cases in the last 24 hours which is below 100 for the fifth consecutive day in a row. The Recovery rate of the district rose to 97.68%. On Friday, the recovery was 97.64% which is much better than the national average.
The active cases now came down to 2062.
Meanwhile, in the day 265 persons became free from the virus which has taken the cumulative recovery to 4,65,280.
In Nagpur district 6 person succumbed to coronavirus of these 1 persons were the residents of Nagpur. In Nagpur rural 2 person lost their life due to the virus taking the cumulative death count to 9001. From the total cases in the, Nagpur rural has reported 45 new cases while 27 persons tested positive for this dreaded virus in city. With these the cumulative number reached 4,76,343.
