Exam related video tampered to misguide students
Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University has lodged a complaint with the police, alleging tampering with its official website. Some miscreants have tampered with information about the University examinations, creating confusion among the students.
Prof Prafulla Sable, Director of Examination and Evaluation Board of the University has stated that the students were given information about the on-line examinations through notifications issued to the principals and also a video was posted to make things more clear to the students.
This video has been tampered by some miscreants, who wanted to defame the University. The University is first in the state to make efforts in conducting on-line examinations smoothly.
The Cyber Crime Department of the Police Force is investigating and is likely to reach to the person(s) tampering wi9th the video, with a motive to defame the University.
The University is fully prepared to conduct the examinations on-line and has also taken steps to avoid loss to the students, who could not access to the network or faced any other problem in writing the examinations.
The University has appealed to the students not to fall victim to the said video and contact their respective college principal, in case of any doubt. The University is also holding an interaction with media persons to clarify the issue.
