Dharampeth Science M.P. Deo memorial college, Ambazari is focused on developing entrepreneurship skills in their students during this corona lockdown period. Through various skill development certificate courses college is continuously inspiring and developing students for self employment and entrepreneurship skills. All these courses have affiliation of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
‘Certificate course in Jewellery Design and Making’ is conducted by college in collaboration with “Raghav Creations†is getting overwhelming response from students.
The USP of this course is student are getting raw material and tools home delivered by college. Online practical methodical professional coaching is enabling students to create various types of imitation jewellery designs at their home only.
Besides making and designing students are getting trained in Budgeting, Pricing, Packaging as well as Marketing of their products on online as well as offline platforms.
Students are enjoying their work as they are getting good response in market for their designs which is motivating in this adverse situation.
The course became a huge success due to the support of DES President Adv Ulhas Aurangabadkar and under the vision and guidance of Principle Dr. Akhilesh Peshve and dedicated staff of college including Course Co-ordinator and HOD Home science detp Manju Deshpande, Course director Dr. Shraddha Deshpande and Instructor and trainer Kalyani Hinganikar, also all DES office bearer staff.
