No new normal, no pandemic can stop our beloved children from soaring high. Every moment is a challenge for them. Right being away from school and friends to being away from their favourite fast food joints everything is just so difficult for them. But overcoming all the odds and striding hard to keep themselves well occupied doing various activities, our CPS students have tried hands on almost everything.
So here we have our young Centre Pointers on the crest of the wave. In the 2nd virtual online SQAY Artistic State level Championship 2021 that was hosted between 14th June to 15th June 2021 by SQAY Association of Maharashtra, our little champs showcased their unbelievable and unbeatable talent. All our 9 participants went on to win State level Championship and got qualified for the National level. All of them were honoured with medals and certificates.
In the U/ 11 boys’ category, Shukhraj Khanduja bagged a silver medal in the K1 Event. In the U/14 girls’ category, Priyani Bansod bagged a silver medal K1 Event. Rishika Khanduja owned a gold Medal in K2 Event and Nishtha Gadi owned a gold medal in the Aero SQAY Event.
In the U/14 boys’category5) Arshaan Mehta bagged a gold medal in the Aero Sqay Event. Om Chincholkar owned a silver medal in the K1 Event. Last but not least in the U/18 girls’ category Tanmaya Nair owned a gold medal in K1 Event, Sakina Akolawala bagged a gold medal in K2 Event and Sayee Chandrayan bagged a silver medal in the Aero Sqay Event.
All the jury members appreciated the dedication and hard work of the winners and applauded all the participants. The winners dedicated their victory to their parents, their coaches and the school. Founder Principal and Advisor Mrs. Radhika Mehra, Principal Mrs. Perveen Cassad and Vice-Principal, Mrs Bhakti Bobde along with coaches Mr. Pritam Pinjarkar and Mr. Mehboob Ansari acknowledged the grand success of all the champions and wished them luck for their future.
