Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has offered jobs to 75 Project Affected Persons (PAP) on Monday.
IN a programme held at WCL Headquarters Dr Sanjay Kumar, Director (Personnel) issued the offer letters. The 75 persons are those whose lands were acquired by WCL for mining and other purposes.
Dr Sanjay Kumar said that this is a golden opportunity for the youth to work in Coal India’s company WCL. The new employees will be imparted training before they actually start working. The youth should take benefit of the training. The team also includes women, who should prove their capabilities, he said.
This is the first batch, offered appointment orders, under Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). After undergoing training for about a month they will be posted in mines for carrying out work at different levels.
General Manager (Human Resources Development) Prabhakar Deshpande made welcome address. Deputy General Manager – Welfare and CSR A K Singh, were also present.
Ritu Singh conducted the proceedings and also proposed a vote of thanks.
