The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the much-awaited class 10th results today at 12 pm.

A total 21,12,767 candidates were registered out of which the results of 20,97,128 students have been declared today, while 16,639 students have to wait for more as their results are still under process.
The pass percentage of CBSE Class X is higher this year as 99.04% have passed. This is a jump of over 8 percentage points from last year when 91.46% of students had passed the exams.
Region-wise, Trivandrum remains the undefeated champion as it not only is the best among regions but has the highest ever pass percentage with 99.99% of students from the region clearing the exam. It is followed closely by Bengaluru which has a 99.96% pass percentage.
This year as well Girls have outshined boys by 0.35%. Girls registered 99.24% pass percentage while boys record 98.89%. Transgender registered 100%.

More than 2 lakh students have score 90% and more marks while 57824 students have obtained 95% and more scores. Nearly 10% of total students (9.58%) have got marks in 90s.

CBSE has decided to issue a combined mark sheet cum certificate for over 21.5 lakh students. Usually, the marks sheet and certificates are two separate documents. This year, the merit list or 0.1% merit list will also not be released.
