An exhibition has been organised on freedom fighters during freedom struggle on August 14 and 15 at Foodball Training Academy in Bokhara (Godhini) at 3 pm to mark Platinum Jubilee of Independence day.
Prof Vijay Barse, follower of Mahatma Gandhi, who organised the exhibition, said that the intention behind organising the expo was to provide information about valuable sacrifices and works made by freedom fighters during the pre-Independence movement to the youths, who do not know much about the history. The new generation would get inspiration from this exhibition and inculcate national feelings, he expressed his confidence.
The exhibition will display over 100 photographs and information on the freedom fighters. It will remain open for public on August 14 after inauguration at 3 pm and then to 5.30 pm and on August 15 from 9 am to 12 noon. Prof Barse has planned to hold such exhibitions in schools and colleges and then at different places in Maharashtra. He appealed to citizens and youths to watch the expo in large numbers.
