For the first time, a rare fishing cat, a critically endangered species, was captured in the camera trap installed in Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
Officials reported that presence of the fishing cat was witnessed previously around Ken river that covers a 55 km long stretch in the tiger reserve. However, this is for the first time the fishing cat was captured in the camera.
