Son-in-law of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh was held by CBI for enquiry. Gaurav Chaturvedi, Deshmukh’s son-in-law was arrested by CBI in front of his residence along with his lawyer for enquiry.
Chaturvedi was released after enquiry for about 20 minutes. His lawyer Anand Daga, however, is still in CBI custody for further enquiry.
The arrest is considered to be in connection with enquiry against Deshmukh in money laundering and corruption charges.
The enquiry has taken a different turn with arrest of Chaturvedi on Wednesday evening.
