SVK Shikshan Sanstha an NGO working with an objective to empower Intellectually Challenged Adults in association with CRC Nagpur(Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment) organised “Eat Right” a National level Drawing/Colouring & Salad Arrangement Competition for Differently Abled People (Visually Challenged,Deaf&Mute, Intellectually Challenged).
The major objective of the event is to provide a platform to Differently Abled people to showcase their talent through Art and to mark National Nutrition Month by promoting healthy eating habits.
Around 200 enthusiastic participants from across the country participated in the competition.
This event was concluded with a Free Webinar on “Eat Right” by renowned Dietecian & Columnist, Meghna Pandit.Â
She highlighted the Four Mantras of a proper diet and further urged the participants to eat more of fresh local produce and follow a proper meal plan for a healthy living. Her enlightening webinar was highly appreciated by the parents & caregivers.
The webinar was concluded with announcement of Results and Cash prizes to all the winners, sponsored by CRC Nagpur.
Gayathri Vatsalya, President of SVK Shikshan Sanstha rendered a welcome note and briefed about the objective of Eat Right event.
Praful Shinde, Director CRC Nagpur, Vishakha Shahane, famous Chef & Director of From the Pan, Singapore and distinguished Judge of the competition, Kavita Ghodmare, Coordinator were prominently present.
Isha Verma compered the event, Shaifali Kohad introduced the Guest speaker & Judge while Ankita Sur proposed vote of thanks.All the drawings of participants are displayed on a virtual platform at www.vatsalyango.co for general public to view and appreciate the talent of Differently Abled People.
