Workers of Vidarbha Rajya Andolan Samiti (VRAS) will take out a bi-cycle rally on September 15 at 10.30 am from Shahid Chowk, Itwari, to press their demands, including formation of separate Vidarbha State.
It may be mentioned here that the samiti had launched dharna agitation at Shahid Chowk from August Kranti Din for one support of the above and other demands like reducing prices of petrol, diesel, gas cylinder and waiving off electricity bills ding corona period. Wamanrao Chatap, President of the samiti, and Ram Newle, Chief Convener, had led the stir.
The rally will pass through Gandhi statue, Badkas Chowk, Mahal, Gandhi gate, Tilak statue, Cototn Market, Variety Square, Jhashi Rani Square, Panchsheel Square, Lokmat Square, Central Bazaar Road and reach to Deekshabhoomi.
