Indigo is all set to launch 38 daily flights in the month of September to boost the connectivity of metropolitan cities with Tier 2 and 3 cities.
With this initiative, the airline has tried to ensure improved accessibility of Lucknow, Mumbai and Indore from some other cities in the nation and vice versa.
Out of these 38 flights, 2 will be freshly launched while 12 others will be relaunched by the airline. Additionally, the latest fleet will also consists 24 connecting flights.
Lucknow to be linked with Raipur & Rachi IndiGo, a major Indian airline has added 38 flights on the daily schedule, all set to strengthen connectivity between metro cities and Tier 2 and 3 cities.
In a statement, IndiGo officials mentioned that new flights will operate between Pune and Raipur. Besides, a string of flights will be relaunched on Lucknow-Ranchi, Lucknow-Raipur, Mumbai-Guwahati, Indore-Ahmedabad, Indore Chennai and Bengaluru-Visakhapatnam routes. While some of the flights will be brand new, the upcoming fleet will also consist of redesigned vehicles.
According to Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer of IndiGo, “These flights will cater to the increased demand for travel and improve accessibility between metro and Tier 2 or 3 cities. The increased accessibility will also promote trade and commerce.
