Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek is entering 25th year of its foundation. The year-long Silver Jubilee year will begin on September 18, the Foundation Day of the University.
Retired Chief Justice of India Sharad Bobde will be the chief guest for the function. Vice-Chancellor Dr Shrinivasa Varakhedi will preside over. Founder VC of the University Dr Pankaj Chande, former VC Dr Uma Vaidya, and Organising Secretary of Sanskri Bharati Dinesh Kamat will be the guests of honour. Spiritual Guru Shree Madhukarnath of Satsang Foundation will be the special guest.
The rituals will begin at 8 am with the inauguration of Jatvedasi Yadnyashala, followed by the inauguration of Urjasvini Yog Mandir and Shrivishveshteertha Shastrashala. The main function will be held at 11 am at Dr Warnekar Sabhagruha of the University, informs Co-ordinating Officer of the jubilee celebrations Dr Madhusudan Penna.
The University has planned various programmes to be held during 2021-2022.
