An Eight-day Online National Level Faculty Development-cum-Orientation Programme on Assessment and Accreditation Process of NAAC is being jointly organised by Santaji Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, J. M. Patel College, Bhandara, Dharampeth M. P. Deo Memorial Science College, Nagpur, Yashoda Girls College, Nagpur, Dr. M. K. Umathe College, Nagpur, Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, and Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede College, Khaparkheda, from 20th to 27th September 2021. Dr. Subhash Chaudhari, Vice-Chancellor, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, will inaugurate the FDP at 10.30 a.m. on 20th September.
The organisation of the FDP-cum-Orientation programme assumes significance in view of the changes made by the NAAC in the AQAR and the SSR. Dr. B. S. Ponmudiraj (Adviser, NAAC), Dr. Leena Gahane (Deputy Adviser, NAAC), Dr. L. Manjunatha Rao (Deputy Adviser, NAAC), Principal Dr. Ajay Gor (Pramukhswami College, Kadi), Principal Dr. Jyoti Patil (NAAC Panelist), Dr. Peeyush Pahade (H. V. Desai College, Pune), Dr. Shrihari Pingle (Sangamner College, Sangamner) and Dr. S. D. Mandanwad (Shankarrao Mahavidyalaya, Ardhapur) will be guiding the participants about the different Criteria on which the institutions are assessed and how to document the evidences as per the requirements of the NAAC quality framework. This academic endeavour will definitely help the faculty members to update and up-skill themselves to face the assessment and accreditation process with assurance, informed the organisers.
The Principals of the collaborating institutions – Dr. Priya Wanjari, Dr. Vikas Dhomne, Dr. R.G.Tale, Dr. D.V.Naik, Dr. Akhilesh Peshwe, Dr. Vandana Bhagdikar and Dr. Dhanraj Shete – have called upon the teachers of the region to attend the Online FDP and take advantage of it.
