Eco-tourism activities will begin at Pench Tiger Reserve, Bor Tiger Reserve and Umrer-Paoni-Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary (UPKWS) from October 1, says a press note issued by Dr Ravikiran Gowekar, Field Director, Pench Tiger Reserve, on Friday.
Taking into consideration the condition of internal roads and possibility of rains here, the gates like Sillari, Khursapar, Chorbauli, Kolitmara, Surewani, Khubala, Paoni in Pench, Bordharan gate in Bor, Karhandla and Gothangaon gates in UPKWS will be open offline system for limited tourism on carrying capacity from October 1 to 15.
Only 12 vehicles would be allowed to enter in the part from Bordharan gate while Adegaon gate will remain closed. Paoni gate in UPKWS will be open offline from October 15 to 31. The tourists will get the facility of online booking for safari from October 16, said Dr Gowekar.
